  Step 1: Start at Heatherdene car park, which is close to The Yorkshire Bridge Pub by Ladybower reservoir. There are some toilets in the car park.

  Step 2: Head on through the car park to get to the footpath. The reservoir will be on your right.

  Step 3: Follow the footpath. There are some picnic tables here.

  Step 5: You can see Ladybower Dam through a clearing here. Turn left where the path forks.

  Step 6: Carry on along the path and head into the woods.
