• Step 1: Sometimes you just need to hop in the car & head for some green fields, big sky & waterside walks. Macclesfield Forest & Ridgegate have it all, so it’s worth heading over for the day with a picnic.

• 

  Step 2: From the Standing Stone Car Park, SK11 0AR, leave via the gate & turn to your right. Walk along the road until you reach the gate.

• Step 3: Macclesfield Forest is a working forest owned by United Utilities. It is made up of many broad leaves trees, but is mostly filled with pine.
