A ramble around Nunney

  Step 1: Start by the Market Cross / bank of the Nunney Brook on Church Street where you’ll usually find loads of ducks.

• 

  Step 2: Walk along Church Street with the river on your right and the church on your left. No pavement here so take care.

• 

  Step 3: You’ll shortly find the castle on your right and bridge to take you there.

• 

  Step 4: Head over the bridge.

• 

  Step 5: Head into the castle grounds via the gate. Nunney Castle is managed by English Heritage and is free to enter.

• 

  Step 6: Wander around the moat whichever way takes your fancy.
