  Step 1: This jaunt starts at the car park of Riverside Country Park: 333 Lower Rainham Rd, Gillingham ME7 2XH. Summer opening is 8:30am - 8:30pm.

• Step 2: It is a short circular walk suitable for well-behaved dogs and children! 😅 You could easily extend this walk. Just flip to map view to follow other footpaths. There’s also a cafe & toilets onsite.

  Step 3: If you’re able to, take this entrance close to the waterside bay. To avoid the uneven path continue right and take the path with the gate.

• 

  Step 4: First up there are sweeping views over Sharp’s Green Bay wetlands with benches along the way.

• 

  Step 5: Continue on the wide flat path. This is a large coastal public park, situated alongside the River Medway estuary.

• 

  Step 6: At this sign keep right. We’re going to visit Horrid Hill on the flat and more accessible path. Go right here.
