• 

  Step 1: This walk starts at the Tyninghame Beach Car Park, EH42 1XW. Walk past the signs and onto the wide earth path.

• 

  Step 2: Follow the path to the right and continue straight ahead by a gate / slight left.

• 

  Step 3: The path takes you alongside Links Wood on the left and an arable field on the right.

• 

  Step 4: You may be able to glimpse a view of the River Tyne.

• 

  Step 5: The view will soon get cut off by the tall fir trees of the woodland.

• 

  Step 6: Continue straight over a pass crossroads. You'll find yourself amongst some WWII concrete tank defences, now a home for moss :)
