  • Step 1: Salisbury, formerly New Sarum, is a medieval cathedral city. It is situated at the confluence of the Rivers Avon (East, or Hampshire, Avon) and Wiley. We will visit the Avon along this walk.

  • Step 2: You can reach the town centre via the train station or there is a short stay car park off Summerlock Approach. From here, turn right onto Fisherton Street.

  • Feel free to wander the high street as you wish but for our walk, continue over the river towards Fisherton Mill.
