Step 2: …member you get in for free. Nearest train station is Clandon Station (CLA), GU4 7TE. For driving via a Sat Nav: Follow brown signs to main visitor car park on A246 (Epsom Road). Also served by Bus Services 463 and 479.
Step 3: The gates to the visitor car park open at 10am and is locked at 4.30pm. It can get busy during school holidays. This route is dog-friendly.
Step 4: Please note that this route is mostly flat but is likely to be very muddy in wet or wintry weather. Wear the right shoes if you don’t fancy a big cleaning job later. When you’re ready, enter the parkland straight ahead.
Step 5: Keep your eyes peeled for guidance with dogs onsite. Follow the path as it bears right, continue through the metal gate.
Step 6: Continue ahead towards the courtyard which you can just about see in the distance.
