• Step 1: Start at Bamford train station and walk up Station Road towards the village. Just before you reach the row of houses on the left hand side, turn into Mill Lane.

• 

  Step 2: Walk along Mill Lane.

• 

  Step 3: On the left is Bamford Hall, once the residence of the mill owners but now holiday accommodation. Keep following the lane around the bend.

• 

  Step 4: Turn left here.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left again & go along the footpath that leads to the front of the mill itself.

• 

  Step 6: Beyond the old sluice gates is the beautiful mill pond and weir.
