  • Step 1: Welcome to this walk from Stackpole Quay to Barafundle Bay. This site is owned by the National Trust, so please pay for your parking before setting off. Check information boards for parking costs.

  • Step 2: You can access Stackpole Quay on foot from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, as well as by bus. The 387/8 (Coastal Cruiser) starts in Pembroke Dock and Angle Peninsula.

  • Head past the information hut towards the picnic area. There’s a book library here if you need something to read whilst on the beach.

  • As well as The Boathouse Tea rooms if you’d like a bite to eat or drink before you set off. They serve hot and cold food plus ice cream.

  • Step 6: Barfundle Bay is a 20 minute way from here. There are a fair amount of steps to and from the bay, making this inaccessible for those with wheelchairs. It’s suitable for pre-schoolers and upwards and for infants in carriers.
