• 

  Step 1: Start the walk at the Mill at Rode if you’re going to pop in for refreshments after. There are plenty of spaces.

• 

  Step 2: Cut through to the main road of Rode Hill. Cross when safe to do so, bearing right towards the turn off on the opposite side.

• 

  Step 3: Turn left onto the tarmac road with trees on your left and a stone wall to your right.

• 

  Step 4: Continue past a farm access track on the right.

• 

  Step 5: Shortly after, turn right and head over the metal stile between the hedges. It can get overgrown here with nettles.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the narrow way marked path to the left uphill.
