• 

  Step 1: Welcome to Section 11 of the Capital Ring. If starting from Hendon Central head left out of the station on Queens Road towards Hendon Park.

• 

  Step 2: Keep an eye out for the green Capital Ring markers. Head right at this one to cross Queen’s Road and enter the park.

• 

  Step 3: There’s a rose garden to the left as you enter. Turn right and then left to follow the path around the tennis courts.

• 

  Step 4: Continue along the edge of the park past the playground. The view over the park is great, especially in autumn.

• 

  Step 5: Section 11 officially starts here by the railway footbridge. Turn left to cross the park, following an avenue of trees.

• 

  Step 6: The Capital Ring signs will keep you updated along the way. Walk down Shirehall Lane to continue. .
