Step 1: We parked in the pub car park which makes sense if you’re stopping for lunch; opposite a 14th Century house that has many stories to tell
Step 2: Walk back on yourself and across the bridge on the left hand side. Look out for cars and pedestrians, it’s a pretty tight squeeze.
Step 3: This walk goes along the River Wye. It’s a beauty. You can walk along the path of the river or for this walk, along the old railway line.
Step 4: Turn left at this sign to Tintern. It’s the way down and along to the old railway station. It’s probably muddy, you’ll need wellies.
Step 5: The steps are pretty steep!
Step 6: Follow these “Wye Valley Walk” signs or if you like check the sign for more information on “The Old Station” about the area.
