  Step 1: This walk starts at Foregate Street rail station. It's served by buses on these routes: 32S, 36, 39, 144, 303, 355. There are toilets here.

• 

  Step 2: Turn left out of the station onto Foregate Street, then take the first left onto Sansome Street. To your right is the old Hop Market Hotel.

• 

  Step 3: The archway in the building on the right is the entrance to the old warehouses for the Grade II hotel, now housing shops and eateries.
