Step 1: Welcome to this circular walk from Knighton railway station, right on the border of Wales and England.
Step 2: Please note that this route includes some walking on quiet country lanes that don’t have a footpath.
Step 3: Knighton station is part of The Heart of Wales Line. It is a spectacular rural railway between Swansea and Shrewsbury.
Step 4: Look out for Station Link waymarkers for the Heart of Wales Line Trail as you go for this first part.
Step 5: With the station behind you, head right along the edge of the car park.
Step 6: Turn left onto Station Road.
