  Step 1: We start our walk at the Italian Gardens Cafe, which is surrounded by lovely mediterranean-style planting (and does great coffee!).

• 

  Step 2: The cafe has a living roof, with wildflowers, logs and large stones to provide homes for wildlife.

• Step 3: As we enjoy our walk, we will meet some of the invertebrates that live in the Royal Parks and the places where they shelter, breed and eat.

• Step 4: Invertebrates are animals that don't have a backbone, and they make up 96% of all animal species on earth!

• 

  Step 5: As we leave the cafe, we'll head to the left-hand path beside the formal ponds ahead - the Italian Gardens.

• 

  Step 6: We'll take a right and walk down the steps to head into the gardens.
