• Step 1: Welcome to section 4b of the Green Chain Walk. This walk begins at Plumstead Common and ends at Oxleas Meadows.

• 

  Step 2: To get to the start of this walk from Plumstead station, turn right out of the station.

• Step 3: Turn immediately right again on to Griffin Road.

• Step 4: Walk up this Griffin Road and bear left at the end, which is Waverley Crescent.

• Step 5: At the Common follow the road round to the right and just past the bus stop cross over the road near the railings.

• 

  Step 6: Follow Waverley Crescent south and cross over Plumstead Common Road at the crossing.
