• Step 1: A short, level Loop section from Hatton Cross with aircraft overhead and motor traffic on roads. An unglamorous but necessary section made interesting by the River Crane. There are waymarks but signs are missing at key points.

• 

  Step 2: Go up steps from the ticket barriers and out of the doors on the right to the Great SW Road. Turn left to cross Hatton Rd S at the lights.

• 

  Step 3: Walk ahead by the dual carriageway. A service road comes in from the left at the Hilton Garden Inn. Walk on between the roads.

• 

  Step 4: Keep ahead past a mini-roundabout.

• 

  Step 5: Fork left passing a crossing on the left and then a short, low concrete wall on the right, to reach a roundabout.

• 

  Step 6: Take the exit slightly to the right from the roundabout. This is closed to traffic.
