  Step 1: This Sensory Trail circles the park. Look for the posts and use them to discover a range of experiences on your walk.

  Step 2: Beside the playground listen to the children playing. Can you hear any other noises? Use a stick on the railings, feel the vibrations.

  Step 3: Touch the leaves from the hedge and feel the different textures. Look at the different colours and shapes of the different plants.

  Step 4: Walk down Coronation Walk under the trees. Can you sense the light and shade? Does it feel like a tunnel? Does the temperature change?

  Step 5: Challenge you senses at the outdoor gym!

  Step 6: Feel the texture on the granite plinth. Close your eyes and feel the difference between rough and smooth surfaces. Can you describe them?
