• Step 1: King George V DLR is right nearby. Start at any one of the entrances to Royal Victoria Gardens for a break from the day and lovely views of the Thames.

  Step 2: There are lovely tree-lined paths throughout the park

• 

  Step 3: There’s a great kids playground and outdoor paddling for the summer time. There are convenient loos opposite the play park.

• Step 4: You’ll also find a bowling green and two tennis courts.

• 

  Step 5: As you wander the park and near the edge of the Thames you will come across this old Steam Hammer.

• 

  Step 6: You can walk alongside the Thames and stop on a bench for great views. The Woolwich Ferry pier is up ahead.
