• Step 1: Exiting the station, walk along station approach and turn right down High street, crossing over the bridge.

• 

  Step 2: Once you’ve crossed the bridge look for the entrance to the canal on your right.

• Step 3: Now all you need to do for a while is follow the Grand Union canal! Enjoy some nature on your way to or from work.

• 

  Step 4: You’ll hear the trains across the canal, otherwise you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the canal.

  Step 5: Did you know that this canal you’re walking along links all the way up to Birmingham?

  Step 6: Parts of this walk are paved, but others aren’t. Be sure to wear suitable shoes for walking if you’re coming/going to/from work.
