  • Turn right out of Chigwell Station. Walk along the High Road past the shops. Cross Chigwell Brook and Courtland Drive.

  • Pass a mini roundabout to join the main Loop route. Carry on up the hill passing the church and Ye Olde Kings Head (now restaurant).

  • Just past the ex-pub, opposite the school, where there is a light-controlled crossing, turn right on a footpath. Continue through a gate.
