  Step 1: Welcome to Section 12 of the Capital Ring. Start by taking the Priory Gardens exit at Highgate station at head straight into Priory Gardens.

• 

  Step 2: Turn right up a narrow footpath between house numbers 63 and 65.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right onto Shepherd’s Hill and then left onto Archway Road.

• 

  Step 4: Take the first left onto Holmesdale Rd, follow the road around the bend and then go through the gate on the left to join the Parkland Walk.

• 

  Step 5: Now a haven for wildlife, Parkland Walk used to be a railway line. You’ll be following it for the next few kilometers.

• 

  Step 6: You will wander over old train bridges as you stroll along the Parkland Walk.
