  Step 1: Welcome to this digital walk through the Silk Wood section of Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. Learn more about it below.

  Step 2: Welcome to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. Founded in 1830 by Robert Holford, it's home to one of the most important tree collections.

• 

  Step 3: When facing the welcome building, head right along the path towards a bridge. Visit the Welcome Building to learn more about the arboretum.

• 

  Step 4: Look left to find three rowan trees. Known as ‘Mountain Ash’ it has feathery leaves, white flowers, and bright red fruits which birds love.

  Step 5: Head onto the STIHL Treetop Walkway.

• 

  Step 6: Look left to see the Westonbirt Woodworks where students can learn green woodworking skills and furniture making 🪑. Learn more below.
