Off the beaten track in Beckenham

Walk preview

1. Step 1: There are many entrances, we chose the one off Westgate Road on the South side of the park. There is some parking available here, put quite a lot of potholes!

2. 

   Step 2: This path will bring you directly into the woods but it's easy to step outside and see the vast open space.

3. Step 3: We continued along the path, if you stick to this there is only one way to go, North!

4. 

   Step 4: We reached this signpost and continued in the direction f Beckenham Place House. The path can be muddy so Wellington boots are advised.

5. 

   Step 5: A short distance ahead we saw another signpost, we followed the direction to Beckenham Place House.

6. 

   Step 6: Here you can pop out of the woods brief to admire the rolling views. We really like the contrast between the open space and dense woodland.
