  Step 1: This walk starts at Lower Sydenham Station.

• 

  Step 2: Take the footpath on the left hand side, you’re on the Waterlink Way. It’s an accessible route.

• 

  Step 3: The path follows alongside the railway line and currently there’s renovation work happening to restore footpaths and add benches.

• Step 4: The footpath snakes onto the road bear right then carry straight on through the housing estate. At the main road, Southend Rd, cross over safely.

• 

  Step 5: You’re heading into Willow Space now. Keep to the path and head over the bridge. The pool river runs along the left hand side.

• 

  Step 6: You’ll meet friendly dog walkers, families walking and cyclists along this route.
