Stroll along the River Frome. Really peaceful and great for nature spotting. Some very muddy, narrow paths. Starts and ends at the station.

Step 1: This walk starts on Shepherd’s Lane. If driving from Frome there will be this small parking area on the right just after the woods begin.

Step 2: This lane is very quiet but still take care crossing over. Head onto the marked footpath on the other side of the road.

Step 3: Head left into the woods. We went straight ahead to follow the path behind the white gate.

Step 4: The path is very wide here as you head uphill.

Step 5: If there are any puddles around, enjoy the canopy reflections they provide.

Step 6: Continue up, bearing slightly left.
