• Step 1: This step-free walk is a loop around Alexandra Park starting at the park entrance on Back Hamlet. The nearest bus stops are Back Hamlet on Foxhall Road and the Holy Trinity Church stop on Fore Hamlet.

  Step 2: Use the chicane barriers to enter the park. The park is usually open at 7.30am Monday – Saturday and 9am on Sundays.

  Step 3: Enter the park and keep right to do a loop of the park with us.

• 

  Step 4: The tarmac paths undulate gently and are usually flat with some uneven areas. There are some steep cambers.

• 

  Step 5: Take note of the beautiful trees dotted throughout the park. Can you spot the Hawthorn tree? In spring, pink blossoms adorn the top.
