  Step 1: This walk starts at Oulton Broad South station and visits Carlton Marshes which is usually open daily 10am-4:40pm.

• Step 2: Please note that this route may be muddy and wet after wet/wintry weather. Use the railway bridge to make your way across and down to the other side of the station.

• 

  Step 3: Exit the station on Marsh Road. Please be aware that there is a lack of footway here. Head slight left onto Marsh Road.

• 

  Step 4: Please be aware of oncoming vehicles.

• 

  Step 5: The surface is loose and uneven here.

• 

  Step 6: As the path bears right, follow it. Ignore the other path on the far left - we will come back this way later.
