• Step 1: The walk is step free but it has some steep inclines and declines both up and down to the upper and lower promenades. The walk is best in milder weather as it can get very wet and windy in winter.

• Step 2: The Kensington Road bus stop is very close by and served by the 99 Coastal Clipper, X2 Coastlink and X21 Coastlink.

  Step 3: This walk starts at Kensington Gardens (NR33 0HY). Head into the gardens from the promenade / coastline side.

• 

  Step 4: First up; we recommend doing a short loop of the gardens. There’s a cafe onsite and small boating lake.

• 

  Step 5: For a step-free loop, turn left to walk around the left hand side of the park.

• 

  Step 6: Turn right to walk back alongside the parallel path. If steps are not an issue for you, please do wander as you wish.
