• Step 1: This is a family-friendly traffic-free walk from Custom House station which is on the DLR & brand new Elizabeth line. Please note that there are lots of steps at the end of the walk. Lifts aren’t always working and you may have…

• Step 2: …to retrace your steps around the dock to return to the start. This is no bad thing as the views are lovely! Exit Custom House station.

  Step 3: The station was built adjacent to the site of an older Custom House station which was built by the Eastern Counties Railway in 1855.

• 

  Step 4: Continue ahead through the underpass to exit by the Excel Centre.

• 

  Step 5: There are cafes and pubs along here as well as toilet facilities. Continue to the end.

• 

  Step 6: On your left is Excel London, an exhibition and international convention centre. There’s always lots of events happening here.
