  Step 1: This is a detour walk from the Thames Path via the Cable Car from the Greenwich Peninsula. Head to the cable car station.

  Step 2: Buy a ticket or use oyster/contactless.

  Step 3: Enjoy the views of the river. You can see local sites such as Canary Wharf and the Thames barrier.

  Step 4: Heading into the docklands area near the excel centre.

• 

  Step 5: This is the area the walk covers. There are shops, bars and restaurants near the cable car station. Walk out & right past the hotel.

• 

  Step 6: Continue along the dock. There are swimmers and water sports in the dock with the cranes as reminders of the industrial past.
