  Step 1: Start at Temple Underground Station. I recommend completing this walk on a weekday lunchtime as the gardens have limited opening hours.

• 

  Step 2: Head up to the roof of Temple Station, here you’ll find The Artists Garden with views over The Thames.

• 

  Step 3: At the foot of the steps to The Artists Garden you’ll find this gorgeous Grade 2 Listed Cabman’s Shelter. Grab yourself a cuppa here.

  Step 4: Head up Surrey Street …

• 

  Step 5: Tucked away here is the site of the ‘Roman Bath’

• 

  Step 6: Next we have the Grade 2 Listed ‘ghost station’ of Aldwych/Strand. Used as a WW2 shelter it also housed treasures from the British Museum.
