  • With the station behind you, turn left along Station Street then turn right onto Carrington Street.

  • Be sure you're on the left-hand side of the pavement. Then turn left and head down the ramp towards the courts, to join the Canal towpath.

  • Alternatively there are a set of stairs here that you can descend to get to the canal path too.

  • Turn right when you reach the canal. Note the former Canal Museum on the other side. This is home to MeganandTinks Narrowboat Project.
