  Step 1: Welcome to this short loop around Broxtowe Country Park. This is an accessible walk for all the family. Dogs are welcome too.

• Step 2: The closest public transport to the start of this walk can be found on Westleigh Road, as well as Coleby Road. Buses 77c and 78 stop at both.

• 

  Step 3: Make your way through the ornate entrance gate to enter the country park from Alwyn Road.

• 

  Step 4: There’s a small community garden and memorial area on your left, with wooden seating. On your right is a small book library too.

• 

  Step 5: Follow the wide, concrete path straight ahead. There’s a slight slope down here, but nothing too steep.

• 

  Step 6: At the path junction, take the path to the left to begin your loop around Broxtowe Country Park.
