Step 1: Welcome to this walk around Sneinton and Sneinton Greenway. This jaunts starts at Green’s Mill.
Step 2: You can choose to start this walk from any point along the route. Just switch to map view and tap the step number closest to your location. You can then begin your walk from there.
Step 3: The closest public transport to Green’s Windmill is the Windmill Lane Stop on Dale Street, bus number 43 stops here. Alternatively you can walk from Nottingham train station in around fifteen minutes.
Step 4: Free parking is available for two hours in the car park on Windmill Lane, but you must register to park your vehicle using the RingGo app or phoning the number on the car park sign. Disabled parking is available in the mill yard.
Step 5: Green’s Windmill was built in 1807. It was lovingly restored in 1979 and is now a working windmill you can explore.
Step 6: With the windmill entrance to the left take the path on the right. You may choose to take a seat on the benches before heading off.
