Step 1: Start at the southern end of London Bridge with the first of the dragons that guard the major City entry points. Head over the bridge.

Step 2: Adelaide House was the tallest office building in the City when opened in 1925. It also had a mini golf course on the roof.

Step 3: Look back for a view of the Shard. Walk down the steps on the right to join the riverside walk. Stay by the river until the Tower.

Step 4: Billingsgate was London’s principal fish market for centuries until it relocated to the Isle of Dogs in 1982.
Step 5: Head left here with the tower on your right

Step 6: Tower Subway is the second oldest tunnel under the Thames. Just 6 feet 8 in wide it closed to pedestrians in 1896 after Tower Bridge opened.
