• Step 1: Vernon Park is historically and physically linked to the key industry of Old Basford - bleaching. The park was originally the grounds of Vernon House.

• 

  Step 2: Go through the black gates and follow the footpath into the park.

• 

  Step 3: Cross the car park heading towards the Sports Pavilion.

• 

  Step 4: Continue straight ahead following the footpath with the Sports Pavilion on your right.

• 

  Step 5: Continue straight ahead passing the tennis courts on your right.

• 

  Step 6: As the path bends to the left continue following the path passing the outdoor gym equipment to your left.
