  Step 1: This walk begins at Bulwell Railway Station and takes you on a lovely loop following the River Leen.

• Step 2: Trains run to and from Worksop, Mansfield, Sutton Parkway and Nottingham. Bulwell bus station is also nearby.

• 

  Step 3: Pass the Horseshoe Inn on the right as you make your way up Station Road.

• 

  Step 4: Pass over the River Leen. This is the first of many views of the river on this jaunt today.

• 

  Step 5: The River Leen has always been an important source of water and power for the area.

• 

  Step 6: Once on the other side of the river, turn left onto the footpath running parallel with Main Street and the Leen.
