Step 1: Welcome to the Green Circle! This clockwise segment follows the Mincinglake stream between its source in the rolling farmland north of Sylvania Park and on to the former village of Whipton.
Step 2: The Exeter Green Circle is a series of walking routes that connects Exeter’s natural green spaces together. In total, the full circle is 19 kilometres, or 12 miles.
Step 3: Get ready to explore green countryside valley parks and the pavements of quiet leafy suburbs. We’ll discover views and locations that are all part of Exeter but which often seem miles from a city.
Step 4: The route begins at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Stoke Valley Roads. Head up Stoke Valley Rd and take the first road to your left.
Step 5: The bridleway up ahead can be muddy and it is very steep. To avoid it, stay right on Stoke Valley Road and follow the path through the play area to meet back up with the route at step 119 and 120.
Step 6: Enjoy the views of the surrounding valley to your right here.
