  Step 1: This is a lovely walk via Stoke Hill Farm with views of Stoke Woods & the Exe Valley. Start at the top of Stoke Valley Road. The P bus stops

• Step 2: near here; you can also park on the road or in the nearby Duryard Valley car park. There is a busy stretch of 750m on Stoke Hill Road, so high vis clothing is advised: or you can turn back and enjoy the views again.

  Step 3: Go down the lane,

  Step 4: continue straight on with Rollestone House on your right.

• 

  Step 5: Ignore the turn to the right.

• 

  Step 6: The tree lined bridleway is popular with horse riders.
