• 

  Step 1: Park in the Duryard Valley car park on the left of Pennsylvania Road shortly after the junction with Stoke Valley Road.

• Step 2: Or park at the top of Stoke Valley Road. You can also leave the P bus at the top of Stoke Valley Road & join the walk at Step 7. A shorter walking route is an option for this walk which will be highlighted.

• 

  Step 3: Pass the picnic area with superb views, & turn right into the road. For just a stroll go through the gate and follow the hedgerow…

• Step 4: path retuning by it. You can also exit onto Wreford’s Lane and after 120 m turn left into Belle Vue Road to join the walk at Step 14. But the lane is busy and narrow, so take care! Otherwise turn right out of the car park.

• 

  Step 5: Turn right into Pennsylvania Road. There is no pavement for approximately 100 metres so take care.

• 

  Step 6: Go past the junction with Stoke Valley Road and head onto the pavement.
