Step 1: Welcome to the Green Circle! This is the third of 5 anti-clockwise segments. Start at the bus stops on Whipton Lane, near Vaughan Road.
Step 2: The Exeter Green Circle is a twelve-mile walk that provides a great walking experience within the boundaries of Exeter – from green countryside valley parks to the pavements of quiet leafy suburbs.
Step 3: This part of the Green Circle includes Mincinglake Valley Park, a former landfill site, now an attractive countryside park with butterfly-rich flower meadows. Superb views down the Exe estuary to the sea can be found as well.
Step 4: The route begins along the grassy verge up Georges Close.
Step 5: Enter the Hamlin Lane playing fields from the end of Georges Close.
Step 6: You might spot some lovely Ivy growing on the fence to your left.
