• Step 2: We would like to thank the Essex Wildlife Trust, Friends of Upminster Windmill and Go Jauntly for support in the curation of this walk.

• Step 3: The walk starts at Romford Station which is on the Liberty line, formerly known as the Overground line. Take the train there to begin the walk.

• 

  Step 4: Exit Romford Station onto South Street.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left and head down South Street.

• 

  Step 6: Continue along South Street into the pedestrianised area
