  Step 1: Begin this circular jaunt from Romford Station. Take the Elizabeth Line from London Liverpool Street to get there in just half an hour.

• 

  Step 2: Turn right out of Romford Station and head down South Street.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right onto Oldchurch Road past this rather fantastic building, now a restaurant. You can cross at the lights or continue to the subway.

• 

  Step 4: Get your first glimpse of the River Rom, a tributary of the River Thames.

• 

  Step 5: Head down into the subway which has a ramp for access.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the signage to the Hospital and Ice Arena.
