  Step 1: Park in the main car park. There are about 35 spaces here plus two disabled bays. Parking is free in the surrounding roads too.

• 

  Step 2: Take the main paved path from the rear of the car park

• 

  Step 3: Go through the gate and take the footpath that bears off from the main path and up to the left

• Step 4: You’ll pass a gate on your left - it’s roughly parallel with a poo bin down on the right. Keep going.

• 

  Step 5: Shortly after that gate, bear up to the left again.

• 

  Step 6: This brings you to a kissing gate into the Sanderstead to Whyteleafe Countryside Area. Go through and take path diagonally through the field
