• Step 1: Your walk starts at Melton train station and follows the River Deben to Woodbridge train station. Trains to and from Ipswich and Lowestoft depart from here. There is also a bus stop outside.

• 

  Step 2: Turn right out of Melton station, taking care when crossing the train tracks.

• 

  Step 3: Shortly on the right will be a wooden gate. Pass through here and follow the path.

• 

  Step 4: Passing a picnic area on the left.

• 

  Step 5: You’ll then reach the river wall. Head up the stairs.

• 

  Step 6: Then turn right to follow the wall along the water.
