  Step 1: Welcome to Bourton-on-the-Water. This short circular jaunt will take you around the village, along the water & past local shops & eateries.

• Step 2: There are bus stops located on Rissington Road, as well as paid car parking. A wifi hot spot is available to use for free, plus there are toilet facilities here. These cost 30p to enter.

• 

  Step 3: It’s received the name Venice of the Cotswolds, due to the arched bridges and waters of the River Windrush flowing through it.

• 

  Step 4: You can choose to walk along the water, or on a hot day you take a dip and keep yourself cool. Dogs are allowed in the water too!

• 

  Step 5: On your right will be The Old New Inn.

• 

  Step 6: You need to turn left & head over the bridge. The pavement is flat here, but narrow. On a busy day single file walking is recommended.
