  Step 1: This walk starts at Hexham station. Served by Northern trains on the Tyne Valley line between Newcastle and Carlisle.

• Step 2: The nearest car park can be found at the station as well as at Wentworth (NE46 1QW). Start the walk at Step 9 if you park there.

• 

  Step 3: Opposite the station, cross Station Road at the zebra crossing.

• 

  Step 4: Turn left on the opposite side.

• 

  Step 5: A little further up the road, turn right onto the path, with the athletic track on the right.

• 

  Step 6: Cross Chisholm Place road at the zebra crossing.
