Step 1: Exit Charing Cross Station. Cross over The Strand at the pedestrian crossings.
Step 2: Take the pedestrianised walkway past St Martin’s in the Field. This leads onto Adelaide Street.
Step 3: Turn left onto William IV Street.
Step 4: You will approach the National Portrait Gallery ahead.
Step 5: Cross over Charing Cross Road and bear right on the other side.
Step 6: You’re in the theatre district now with Leicester Square on your left. Continue up Charing Cross Road.
