• Step 1: This walk was created in partnership with Cherwell District Council. Enjoy over 30 walks across North Oxfordshire and experience the sights and sounds of nature as you go.

• Step 2: If you come by car, there’s no designated parking in Adderbury (OX17 3ND) so please park considerately. There is usually space near the start of the walk, along the south side of the village green.

• 

  Step 3: Start next to the Oxford Road/A4260 by the Adderbury Parish Institute. Walk towards the village with the green on your right.

• 

  Step 4: There are some lovely mature trees that line the village green. The green once was the site for stocks and, more pleasantly, a market.

• 

  Step 5: On your left over the wall you’ll find Rawlins House, the site of a former grammar school.

• 

  Step 6: Next you’ll find the rather grand South House.
